About Dreadhead Parkour

Dreadhead Parkour is a side-scrolling urban parkour runner where you chain together jumps, slides, wall-runs, and vaults across rooftops, scaffolding, alleyways, and chain-link fences. Your character's dreadlocks whip with each movement — a small visual detail that makes the momentum feel tangible. The controls stay intentionally simple: jump and slide are the only two inputs, but the combination of when and how quickly you chain them produces a wide range of movement options.

Each level is built around a flow route — a sequence of obstacles that rewards consistent timing with uninterrupted speed. A mistimed jump breaks the chain and costs time; a perfect sequence of vaults and drops is genuinely satisfying in a way few browser runners achieve. Branching paths are hidden in most stages: alternate routes skip large sections but demand a harder jump or a tigheter window.

Optimising Your Run

The fastest times in each level almost always run an alternate path at least once. Look for partially hidden upper platforms after long horizontal runs — they frequently bypass a slow ground-level obstacle section. Slide under overhangs immediately after landing from a wall-run rather than losing momentum to a standing stop. The level timer is your primary feedback loop; shaving one second off a problematic section usually reveals the correct movement sequence.
