Eggbot vs Zombies
About Eggbot vs Zombies
Eggbot vs Zombies is a tower defence game featuring a robot egg defending its base from waves of cartoon zombies. You place defensive units along the zombie approach path to eliminate them before they reach the base. The unit roster includes standard gunners, area-damage cannons, slowing ice turrets, and high-value but expensive energy beam towers. Balancing placement cost against effectiveness across early and late waves is the core strategic challenge.
The zombie variety drives the tactical depth. Slow heavy zombies absorb enormous damage before dying and require focused fire from damage-maximised placements. Fast light zombies bypass a standard grid of turrets if the coverage doesn't include enough slowing towers to reduce their speed. Flying zombie variants bypass ground-level towers entirely and require dedicated anti-air placements.
Placement Strategy
Slowing towers placed at the earliest entry point of the approach path generate the most value of any tower type — every zombie that's slowed from that point forward gives every subsequent tower more time to fire at it. Avoid over-saturating the early path with damage towers and leaving the mid-to-late path uncovered; zombies that survive the early gauntlet with full health arriving at an uncovered stretch of path will reach the base before your late-path towers can eliminate them. Anti-air towers should be placed near the mid-path rather than entrance or exit — flying zombies accelerate past endpoint placements too quickly.
