Escaping the Prison is the second game in PuffballsUnited's Henry Stickmin series. After being captured at the end of Breaking the Bank, Henry wakes up in a prison cell and it's time to break out — again. The game presents you with three distinct escape routes, each built as a branching sequence of choices: a Sneaky route through the ventilation system, an Aggressive route fighting your way out, and a Badass route that takes an entirely different approach.
Each route has multiple decision points where you pick a tool or action from a list, then watch an animated sequence play out. Wrong choices produce slapstick failure scenes — a distinguishing feature of the series — where Henry meets a comically bad end before you're prompted to retry. The correct sequences reward you with genuinely clever animations that feel earned rather than random.
Three Routes Worth Playing
The Sneaky and Aggressive routes are the straightforward paths — both are completable without hints, relying on educated guesses and process of elimination. The Badass route is intentionally harder to find and serves as the series' most memorable early moment; you'll know it when you hit it. Completing all three routes takes around 15-20 minutes and is the intended way to experience everything the game offers.
