About Fleeing the Complex

Fleeing the Complex is the fifth game in Puffballs United's Henry Stickmin series and arguably its most replayable entry. Henry has been captured and imprisoned in a high-security facility called The Wall. The game offers five distinct escape routes — The Convict Allies, Presumed Dead, International Rescue Operative, Toppat Clan Operative, and Ghost Inmate — each with its own full sequence of scenes, decisions, and failure animations.

By this point in the series, every route is substantially longer than in the earlier games. The writing is sharper, the failure gag timing is tighter, and several routes have major story consequences that set up different versions of Completing the Mission, the final game. The branching is more meaningful here than anywhere else in the series: the route you choose and the specific decisions within it define which continuation of Henry's story you're following.

Route Recommendations

Each route suits a different play style. Presumed Dead is the shortest and funniest if you want to see gags quickly. Toppat Clan Operative and International Rescue Operative reward players who've been following the series story since Infiltrating the Airship. Ghost Inmate is the hardest to complete blind due to a specific sequence that requires prior series knowledge. Play each route — all five together take around 45 minutes — to get the full picture of what this entry is doing narratively.
