About Granny 2

Granny 2 expands the original Granny escape formula by adding Grandpa as a second threat character. Where Granny responds to sound with speed, Grandpa responds to line of sight — he moves more slowly but covers wide areas if he spots you, and his field of vision is broader than Granny's. Managing both characters simultaneously requires knowing their individual patrol territories and avoiding the overlap zones where both could respond to a single mistake.

The house is larger than the original, with new room types and an extended interconnected escape puzzle that draws items from across more of the map. The two-character threat system prevents the original Granny strategy of locating Granny early and systematically working opposite zones — Grandpa's visual coverage fills in the gaps Granny's audio focus left unguarded.

Handling Two Threats

Treat Granny and Grandpa as separate systems: move silently to avoid Granny, stay in cover to avoid Grandpa. When both are in the same area, prioritise cover that takes you out of Grandpa's sightline even if it puts you temporarily closer to Granny — an alerted Grandpa's slow patrol speed gives you more manageable escape options than an alerted Granny's sprint response. Learn their patrol overlap times and route through the house during the brief windows when both are in non-overlapping zones.
