Hunter Assassin 2
About Hunter Assassin 2
Hunter Assassin 2 is a stealth elimination game where you control an assassin navigating shadowy environments to eliminate guards without being detected. The core mechanic is sight-cone avoidance — guards project a visible cone of detection in front of them, and entering that cone triggers the alert. You move through the level using cover, patrol timing, and shadow zones to get behind each guard and eliminate them before the next guard's patrol brings them into your area.
The level progression adds complexity through patrol route density and overlapping vision cone coverage. Early levels have simple non-overlapping guard positions that can be approached one at a time. Mid-game levels introduce two-guard tandems where eliminating one immediately alerts the other unless the timing is precise. Late levels create fully overlapping coverage networks where the only safe movement windows are narrow cross-points in the patrol timing cycle.
Reading Patrol Patterns
Every guard has a fixed patrol route with a fixed timing cycle. Observe the full cycle once before attempting an elimination — the cycle length tells you the safe window you have after one guard turns away before the next patrol completes its rotation toward that position. Eliminate the guard who has the shortest safe window first; guards with long patrol cycles can wait while you handle the more time-critical positions. Shadow zones are safe regardless of guard facing, so route through them when available rather than relying purely on patrol timing.
