Killer Assassin is a top-down stealth game where you eliminate targets in densely guarded environments using a combination of silent takedowns, thrown weapons, and environment hazards. The game gives you a limited set of tools for each level — one or two throwing weapons, a fixed movement speed, and a melee takedown that requires getting directly behind the target — and challenges you to clear the level without triggering a full alert.

The alert system has levels: a guard who spots a body investigate but doesn't immediately call a full alarm; a guard who spots you directly calls an immediate alarm that ends the level. This two-tier system rewards leaving bodies in hidden positions over simply eliminating threats anywhere in the level, and creates interesting decisions about whether to risk a difficult drag-to-cover operation versus leaving a body in a visible position and completing the level faster.

Stealth Approach

Thrown weapons are the most powerful tool in the kit but have finite stock. Reserve them for guards positioned in areas where a melee approach would require crossing another guard's line of sight — the throw lets you eliminate from safe range without exposure. When multiple guards are in visual range of each other, identify the one whose elimination creates the longest body-undiscovered window and use that time to reposition for the next takedown rather than attempting back-to-back simultaneous eliminations.
