About Orbital Survival

Orbital Survival is a bullet hell survival shooter set in space, where you pilot a small ship and survive as long as possible against escalating waves of enemies that orbit, charge, and swarm from all directions. Rather than following a level structure, the game uses a time-survival format: the longer you stay alive, the faster and more numerous the enemies become, and reaching specific time milestones unlocks upgrade choices that modify your ship's weapon and movement capabilities.

The upgrade selection is the game's strategic layer. Every milestone presents three random upgrades and you pick one — weapon spread, projectile speed, movement speed, shield regeneration, and so on. The cumulative build you develop through these selections determines whether your late-game survival is based on high-damage burst, area control, or raw manoeuvrability.

Survival Strategy

Movement is more important than firepower in the early game — learn the enemy orbit patterns and maintain the centre of the open space rather than drifting toward screen edges where you have fewer escape angles. Upgrade selections that improve projectile coverage (spread, rotation) are consistently more effective than raw damage increases unless you've already committed to a burst build. The hardest period of any run is roughly minutes 8-12 before your build coheres — surviving to minute 12 usually means you'll reach 20+.
