About Rooftop Shooters

Rooftop Shooters is a two-player duel game set on urban rooftops where you and an opponent fire at each other across the gap between adjacent buildings using ragdoll physics characters. A single hit eliminates your character and scores a point for the opponent; matches are played to a set score. The physics-driven character movement is intentionally loose — your character wobbles and lists with each shot, making standing still a precise skill rather than a default.

The game supports both local two-player and single-player against AI. The AI difficulty is surprisingly robust on later settings — it reads your firing pattern and adjusts standing position to expose less surface area. The local multiplayer version is the primary recommended experience, as rooftop duelling is fundamentally a read-your-opponent discipline that the AI version approximates but doesn't fully replicate.

Winning the Duel

Crouch timing is the primary skill. A shot that would connect with a standing opponent misses a crouching one, and the window to read your opponent's shot and crouch is short enough that anticipation matters more than reaction time. Watch your opponent's weapon rise rather than waiting for the muzzle flash as your crouch trigger. A standing shot after your opponent has committed to a crouch frequently connects since they'll stay low for a fraction of a second longer — use that pattern once per match to avoid it becoming predictable.
