Rooftop Snipers 2
About Rooftop Snipers 2
Rooftop Snipers 2 is the sequel to the original rooftop duel game, expanding the roster of rooftop environments and adding new character types with different movement physics. The core duel mechanic is unchanged — one shot ends the round — but the varied environments include moving platforms, wind effects, and obstacles that change the physics of standing still and aiming between stages. What worked on a static flat roof doesn't directly transfer to a swaying crane platform.
Character selection adds a layer absent from the original: each playable character has slightly different movement weight and crouch depth, which affects how their hitbox presents to the opponent and how quickly their body sways during the aiming window. Testing multiple characters in early rounds of a session to find the one that matches your shot-release timing is worthwhile before committing to ranked play.
Environmental Adaptation
The moving platform environments require adjusting the timing of shot release to the platform movement cycle rather than firing at will. On platforms oscillating side to side, the brief pause at the edge of each oscillation is the ideal shot window — the platform is momentarily not accelerating, which removes the sway from your character's standing position. Opponents on the same moving platform share the same physics constraints, so your shot advantage from reading the cycle is mirrored.
