Santy is Home is a holiday-horror game in the Five Nights at Freddy's format, reimagining the genre's survival mechanics in a Christmas Eve setting where Santa Claus is not a benevolent gift-giver. You survive the night by managing house access points — chimneys, windows, and doors — while monitoring cameras across the house for signs of entry. Power management creates the same cost-of-safety tension that defines the FNAF format in its seasonal variant.

The Santy character's movement and behaviour echoes FNAF's core design: observable patterns that become predictable with experience, specific responses to player actions, and a final-approach phase that forces a precise defensive response. The holiday theming adds environmental details — wrapped presents as obstructions, festive lighting that obscures camera visibility, holiday music that masks audio cues — that differentiate the experience from a direct FNAF clone.
