About Traffic Rider

Traffic Rider is a first-person motorcycle endless racing game where you weave through dense highway traffic at high speed. You ride on a dual-carriageway with oncoming vehicles in opposite lanes and same-direction traffic in your lane. Passing within a short distance of other vehicles earns bonus points and builds a score multiplier; a collision ends the run. The game supports both career mode with specific distance and overtake objectives and an endless mode for pure score chasing.

The first-person perspective is the game's strongest feature — the sensation of threading a motorcycle through tight gaps at 180+ km/h is convincingly reproduced through speed blur and audio feedback from passing vehicles. A well-timed close pass at high speed accompanied by the rush of displaced air creates a tangible sense of speed that broadens the skill feedback loop beyond just not crashing.

Maximising Score

The score multiplier from near-misses decays when you're not making close passes. Active multiplier maintenance — consistently threading tight gaps rather than using wide open road — is the difference between a good score and a great one. Oncoming lane incursions for overtake bonuses are high-value but require reading the oncoming traffic pattern correctly before committing; a late correction from the wrong lane at 200 km/h is almost always fatal. Night mode stages reduce visual range significantly and require memorising the traffic density patterns from daytime play.
