Zombie Siege Outbreak
About Zombie Siege Outbreak
Zombie Siege Outbreak is a base-defence wave game where you protect a structure against zombie hordes from a third-person over-the-shoulder perspective. The base has hit points that decrease when zombies reach it, and each wave rewards you with upgrade currency to spend on wall reinforcements, turret placement, and character weapon upgrades before the next wave begins. The balance between base upgrades and personal weapon upgrades is the core strategic resource allocation challenge.
Wave composition varies between siege waves — standard waves come from the front; flanking waves approach from the sides; tunnel waves emerge from breach points in the ground within the defence perimeter. Recognising the wave type from the pre-wave indicator lets you reposition before the wave begins rather than reacting mid-approach.
Upgrade Allocation
Turret placement provides passive damage that accumulates regardless of your personal positioning during a wave — this makes turret investment relatively more efficient than character weapon upgrades in later waves when personal firing time is occupied by mobile repositioning responses to flanking and tunnel waves. Reinforce the walls on the flanking-wave sides before the wave that first uses flanking composition arrives; a breached wall on a flank takes the base's structural hit points rather than just the incoming damage, which is dramatically more costly than the pre-wave reinforcement investment.
