About Drunken Duel

Drunken Duel puts two wobbly, physics-based stick figures face to face in a classic gunfight. Both fighters sway and stagger uncontrollably — landing a shot on your lurching opponent while keeping yourself upright is harder than it sounds and endlessly funny.

The genius of the game lies in the shared chaos: neither player has perfect control, so skilled play is about reading the wobble patterns rather than precise aim. Play solo against the AI or compete against a friend locally.

How to Play

Player 1 uses W to shoot and Q to balance. Player 2 uses Up Arrow to shoot and 0 to balance. Hit your opponent before they hit you three times. Your character staggers and falls if shot or loses balance.

Use the balance button frequently — letting your character lean too far makes you an easy target. Short rapid shots are more effective than waiting for a perfect aim since both characters are always moving.

Controls

  • W: Player 1 shoot
  • Q: Player 1 balance/stabilise
  • Up Arrow: Player 2 shoot
  • 0 (zero): Player 2 balance/stabilise

Game Features

  • vs AI Mode: Practice against a computer opponent
  • 3-Hit Health: First to land three shots wins the duel
  • Simple Controls: Easy to learn in seconds, surprisingly deep

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Drunken Duel appropriate for all ages?

The game features comedic stick-figure violence with no gore. It's suitable for general audiences.

Can I play with two players on one screen?

Yes — local 2-player is supported with split keyboard controls.

Tips & Strategies

Don't try to aim precisely — rock your shots into the wobble rhythm. Most players who overthink aim lose to players who just tap rapidly and let the chaos do the work.

The balance key is underutilised by beginners. Staying upright as long as possible means your hitbox shifts less, making you slightly harder to hit.
