About Level Devil

Level Devil is the trap-filled rage platformer that takes the classic "expect the unexpected" design philosophy to its extreme. Every level looks straightforward — and then the ceiling drops, the floor vanishes, or invisible walls appear. Trust absolutely nothing.

With hundreds of community-loved levels, each more devious than the last, Level Devil has become the go-to game for players who want a mix of genuine challenge, dark comedy, and the satisfaction of finally cracking a level that seemed impossible.

How to Play

Use Arrow Keys or WASD to move and jump. Reach the door at the end of each level. The twist: the environment will try to kill you in unexpected ways — floors open up, spikes appear, gravity reverses. React fast or memorise the traps.

After dying to the same trap twice, you know what's coming. The entire game rewards memory over reaction time — once you know the tricks, levels are straightforward. On your first run, proceed slowly and suspiciously.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Level Devil really that hard?

The first time through, yes. Once you know the traps, most levels are trivially easy — the challenge comes from the surprise, not the execution.

How many levels are there?

The game regularly adds new levels. Current versions have well over 100.

Tips & Strategies

Slow walk through every new level until you trigger the first trap. Then restart knowing what to expect. Speed is the enemy on a first run.

Some traps are triggered by specific positions — if a trap keeps killing you at the same point, try approaching from a different angle or height to change the trigger timing.
